One guide has words, the other guide has images. Share, get the whole story.
Taking TED’s slogan at face value—Ideas Worth Sharing™—we created two guides for the Austin event in 2013. Carefully laid out with corresponding “key pages”, the 400+ programs were placed in alternating order on the chairs before the event.
Once seated, attendees discovered that the person flanking them on either side held something different than they did. One person knows what everything looks like, the other has the facts, but no visual representations.
Swap. Share. Steal. Read over their shoulder; but if you don’t interact or get creative, you don’t get the whole story of the event. Guides worth sharing.
