As part of the AIA Austin 2010 Summer Conference, FÖDA Studio has been invited to present our position on Brand & Identity and participate in a panel discussion that includes a variety of marketing expertise from 5 different industry experts.
Friday, August 14th from 3pm-4:45pm, “Smart Marketing During Uncertain Economic Times.” Objective: to help the small and medium-sized firms stay visible in the marketplace. Panelists include Lauren Austin with Austin Yessayan + Co., Zarghun Dean with Act2 Studio, Cile Montgomery and Jordan Jeffus with Giant Media.

Perla’s Seafood & Oyster Bar—a brand and identity we launched last year—was host to the illustrious Anthony Bourdain. Under the aegis of our script logo and clean identity system, he woofs down oysters and talks shop with our clients Larry McGuire and Thomas Moorman. Not as tasty as the seafood, but close.

FÖDA Studio Creative Director and founder Jett Butler has been asked to join Herman Dyal, FAIA by the Austin AIGA to introduce Citizen Architect at the Alamo Drafthouse Ritz, Wednesday night, July 14th as part of Reel Design. The showing is a special joint venture of the Austin chapters of the AIA and the AIGA.

Normally we sit on projects until they are totally complete before publishing them. However, when the work is a new identity on articulated .06” acrylic with two passes of serigraphy and an elaborate guilloché/morphed-hypertrochoid pattern, punched through letters, and 10 unique and different card patterns, it’s hard to hold it in.
